Murchison Holdings in Talks with Leaders in the Field of Biometric Technologies

Murchison Holdings Ltd are now working to deploy biometric solutions around the world. These solutions provide better security than previously establish, old-hat methods of ensuring the identification and location of personnel.

Biometric solutions are tomorrow's way of punching in at work, logging on your computer, securing doorways and systems. Biometric solutions work on checking the identification of the person through their actual physical components, rather than making sure the card they are carrying is correct. It is a simple fact that cards and passwords can not reliably ensure the user logging on, or person entering a building is who they say they are, biometrics changes all of this by using iris recognition or handprint/fingerprint recognition to identify a person's access levels. The security benefits of knowing that the identity claimed at an access point is true are immeasurable and form the foundation of any security system; from enhanced accountability and more robust auditing through to significantly enhanced protection of an organisation's assets.

Since Pacific Lion's CEO Marcus Potter joined the group he has been in discussions with leading providers to distribute this emerging technology through Murchison Holdings to our Global client base.

Before joining Pacific Lion, Marcus worked with one of the UK Government Cabinet Office extranet systems to evaluate cutting edge technology from providers around the globe for deployment to consumers, Marcus comments "Working on the Cabinet technology extranet, I learnt in depth about the recent advances within bioscience industries around the world. Biometric technology is now becoming widely utilised, not only for securing borders or worldwide passport integration, but also by leading enterprise around the globe for punching in at work, logging on your computer or providing more effective ways to secure doorways and systems. Because of the scalable and smaller budgets required to implement secure solutions using this technology, biometrics will seamlessly integrate into society over the coming years"

An announcement will shortly follow with an insight into Murchison Holdings' potential partnerships with leading Biometric suppliers throughout the world.
