Mr. Grant Robertson graduated from Monash University with a Bachelor of Economics (B.Ec.) in 1977, and a Bachelor of Law (LLB.) in 1979. Mr. Robertson joined the Board in 1991 as a Non-Executive Director of both Murchison Holdings Ltd and Quest Investments Ltd and in 2008 became an Executive Director of both those companies. He is also the Company Secretary of both Murchison Holdings Ltd and Quest Investments Limited.
Mr Mr Robertson is a solicitor and was for some 17 years a partner of Abbott Stillman & Wilson, a large legal firm in Melbourne. He has considerable experience in property development, corporate and taxation matters.
In addition to his appointment to the Board, Mr. Robertson was also an Executive Director of the Robertson Group of Companies, a property developer and investor in shopping centres, commercial and industrial properties in the State of Victoria.
He is also the founder and director of Pegasus Aircraft Industries Group, a group specializing in the provision of legislative, technical and manpower assistance to various foreign governments on B747 engine overhaul and maintenance.
Besides his corporate appointments, Mr. Robertson was also very active in various charitable organizations. He was a Board member of Sudden Infant Death Research Foundation Inc., a former Board member of Lord Mayor’s Charitable Fund and the Monash Institute of Reproduction and Development and associated committees.
Mr Robertson is a member of the Law Institute of Victoria, Australia, and the Australian Society of Certified Practising Accountants.
