Chongqing Car Industry

"The Development Plan of the Chongqing Car Industry" as announced by the Nan'an Government intends to develop Chongqing into one of the world leaders of the Car Industry, turning the area into a supplier of both completed Cars and automobile parts for other manufacturers. Projections indicate that sales will reach 1.5 million cars in 2010 and income will amount to 135 billion yuan.

 

Chongqing Nan’an District Government, Lifan Group and MCH from Australia signed the agreement to build “Deutscher Industriepark” on April 22nd 2006. Within the Deutscher Industriepark we intend to make the governments plan for Chongqing a reality, currently the first phase of development occupies 1 sq km and will grow in size over the coming years to 3sq km of industrial land.

 

The goal defined in the government plan is to build Chongqing as a “Famous Car City”. We plan to sell seven million motors and produce advanced, international standard automobiles. Therefore, Chongqing can be the spare parts supplier of many corporations throughout the whole world. Chongqing will grow to encompass large scale, high quality and advanced technologies.

 

By 2010 the total production value of cars will be more than 185 billion yuan and car production equipment will be in the same league as the most advanced in the world. In addition to this we will have two research facilities which will be comparable to technique researching centres from all around the globe.

 

This activity of Murchison Holdings goes to show that we are a global player within China and intend to show our strength in several industries and markets over the coming years. Deals are emerging to export the cars being produced at Chongqing around the globe and we are in negotiations with more manufacturing companies to occupy space within future developments.
