Chongqing Industrial Development

 

The Deutscher Industriepark that we are developing in Chongqing will house 3 sq km of industrial factory land that will be devoted to both industry and researching new technologies to be implemented within the site and around the globe.

 

The first phase currently primarily consists of automobile manufacture and research, and covers 1 sq km of the site, the future developments will open the site further to more industry and technological innovations.

 

Murchinson Holdings Ltd has over the past 18 months devoted resources to the building of its links with international companies and PRC entities. Thus allowing us to draw on a wide range of sources for industrial development.

 

Some examples of the companies working within the Industrial development are:

 

Chongqing Chang’an Renmei Production Foundry:

The company has invested 400 million yuan, occupying 300 mu, supplying spare parts to the star of Chang’an, Chang’an Ford and Chang’an Lingmu which are produced by Chongqing Chang’an Group.

 

Chongqing Pliers Manufactory Foundry:

Is a comprehensive company for forging spare car parts and processing machines, one subsidiary of Chongqing Qingfang holding company. With 50 years of experience in forging, it has already supplied all kinds of machines which are warmly welcomed by clients. Its foundation occupies 100 mu, with the total investment of 100 million yuan.

 

Chongqing Lifan Industry (Group) Co.

The biggest individually-run motorcycle manufacturer in China. Yin Mingshan, together with nine other people, established Lifan Hongda Vehicle Assembly Research Institute in 1992 with RMB200,000. After 12 years' efforts, Lifan Group rapidly grew up and developed into a state level large-scaled individually-run enterprise focusing on science and technology development, engine & motorcycle manufacture and sales(including export) and incorporating automobile manufacture, soccer industry, financial securities, culture/media.

 

The Three Gorges Project is bringing in new people who migrate from their old homes to the city, exposing more people to the new ‘city life’ within Chongqing, Chongqing is upgrading its city by moving the old centres of mining and manufacture out of the urban residential areas, is applying environmental protection methods as well as pollution controls and upgrading old factory bases into modern centres of production.
