DiTV Set-top Box

 

The DiTV set-top box is the main front-end hardware for the DiTV solution, it is where all the data feeds into and out of. The wiring from your connection point will plug into this box, which will then in turn plug into your television, allowing you to access the content supplied by the platform. The STB itself can also function as a wireless router for the rest of your house or office as it can be built with an integrated Wi-Fi broadcaster.

 

The STB utilises state-of-the-art triple play technology, connecting through your broadband connection to a secure 'Ethernet' which our content servers are connected to, as well as a gateway to the internet. Triple play technology allows the ethernet to deliver voice, video and data through the same connection to your STB. The STB is built using the latest in microprocessor technology, chipsets and software capabilities.
