Summary of telephone products

There are many different types of devices for the user to consider when thinking about joining the VoIP revolution, each with its own individual merits and design.

(1) Conventional telephone set incorporating our own designed PCB board that can be plugged into your network. For use in an environment where there is more than one computer and phone plugged to the same connection, an office for example.

(2) Conventional telephone set connected to a single port gateway device providing access to our VoIP System. A telephone that is plugged into a 'door' to the internet and the traditional phone lines, allowing the phone to use both.

These two designs both use the same gateway, in order that a home user who only needs a single port could consider adding more in the future The specifications and a write up on the gateway can be viewed here.

(3) Full IP telephone set specially designed for our VoIP System. This phone itself acts as a modem and can plug straight into a broadband connection without the box from the 2nd option, it also allows the user to dial a PSTN network, going through the internet and our server side gateways, not through traditional phone plugs.

This IP telephone is supplied by our partner QTL and is ready to be easily integrated into both PSTN and VoIP networks. The model features and documentation can be read here.

(4) USB telephone handset that can be connected to a computer at home, office or laptops for ease of travel and mobility. This is a simple and effective design, lightweight enough to carry with you on trips and small enough to fit even into a pocket. This plugs into a USB port and connects to the internet to use VoIP and dial PSTN networks through our server gateways.

There are several different models available from QTL of USB telephones and the features of two can be viewed here and here.

(5) This represents the culmination of our technological expertise, a MobileVoIP phone that wirelessly connects to the internet to use both VoIP and PSTN networks, can be activated and used in any Wi-Fi locations. With the mass growth of Wi-Fi hotspots recently this model is expected to lead the way forward in mobile communications.

These mobile wi-fi phones are currently in production and so details may not be finalised, however you may read the documentation here.
